Our mission
After the age of 50, our physiological processes begin to slow down so it is important to maintain strength and look after your health and wellbeing. The best way to keep fit is by remaining active and enjoying a balanced diet. In addition to this, it is important to have a positive mindset in regards to oneself, the environment and other people. The gatherings and fun activities we offer - both online and face-to-face - allow our members to meet new people, improve mental health and create a feeling of satisfaction with life.
Established in 2006, ESPAR 50+ encourages the older generation to partake in sport, to do puzzles, amongst other activities hoping to put a smile on their faces and fill their lives with joy whilst benefiting their health.
In 2017, we started working as an organisation helping the public; we have 31 members. We work as a charity in the field of gerontological prophylaxis by protecting and aiding healthy lifestyles. Additionally we teach physical education and offer opportunities for volunteering thereby helping to improve the lives of the older generation.
